The West Suffolk Hospital has benefited from the East Anglian Mark Benevolent Association match funding scheme, with a donation of £500 towards equipment for it’s cardiac day centre.

Sudbury based Suthburgh Mark Lodge members donated £250 and this was matched by the EAMBA to give the final total. The grant was presented to the My WiSH charity which raises funds for the Bury St Edmunds hospital by lodge member John Ford, who received treatment for cancer and heart issues.

My WiSH Appeals Manager Sally Daniels received the cheque and said, “The new cardiac centre is now open and making a massive difference to the community with pacemakers being fitted and angiograms being performed. We couldn’t have completed the project without fabulous support of people like John and Suthburgh Lodge and we are truly grateful”.
