Yare Valley Mark No 1597 gives £1400 to Keystone Appeal

The lodge held a very successful Golf Day which raised £1,000, then topped this up with a £400 donation from lodge funds. Deputy Provincial Grand Master VW.Bro Ray Clarke was present to receive this wonderful amount from the hard working Charity Steward Bro. John Frawley. The money will go towards funding mobile chemotherapy vehicles for the Hope for Tomorrow Charity, plus our own East Anglian Masonic Benevolent Association.

The meeting was the Installation of Bro. Paul Robinson as Worshipful Master, and his new team of Officers.

For those of us who managed to park at the Oaklands Hotel, Norwich, or close by in the Rushcutters (always a good alternative), we were treated to a great night witnessing Paul Installed as WM. A team effort, ably led by Installing Master W.Bro John Davis, saw Grand Officers moving around the floor in and out of various seats. Special mention to Bro. Brian Robertson with a fine Working Tools. Three candidates successfully balloted and the donation to the Keystone Appeal shows the lodge is in good heart. A fine Festive Board followed with fun and atmosphere, rounding off a very enjoyable Mark Masonry evening with good company.
